Dyson Air Conditioners, Air Purifiers
Dyson reputation and history
Dyson Ltd was established 1991 with the sole purpose of manufacturing and selling vacuum cleaners. However, the idea of making vacuum cleaners had been born back in 1974 after James Dyson, the founder, had bought a Hoover Junior vacuum cleaner that clogged too soon. The first Dyson-designed vacuum cleaner sold publicly was the Kleeneze Rotork Cyclon in 1983 under Rotork Company.
Then, in 1993, the DA 001 became the first dual-cyclone vacuum to be sold under Dyson’s name but was later replaced by an almost similar vacuum labeled DC01. Apart from vacuum cleaners, Dyson Ltd manufactures other products such as hand dryers, heaters, air conditioners, air purifiers, among others. In all, Dyson is a reputable brand.
Dyson Air Conditioners
Dyson offers a wide selection of fans and heaters that offer high-velocity personal cooling. The air conditioners are in two categories: the Dyson Cool and Dyson hot+cool fans and heaters. A special feature of these products is that they do not have blades, which makes them safe and easy to clean.
Dyson cool fans come in two models: Dyson Cool tower fan for large spaces and the Dyson AM08 pedestal, an impressive floor fan. These fans employ the Air Multiplier Technology to offer high-velocity and long-range air projection. The Jet Focus AM09 is the most common Dyson hot+cool fan heater.
Dyson Air Purifiers
Dyson has three models of air purifiers. They are: Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link, Dyson Pure Cool purifying fan DP04, and the Dyson Pure Cool purifying tower fan TP04.
These purifiers are designed to cool, heat, and purify air in a room. Like most powerful air purifiers, these units can capture up to 99.97% of airborne pollutants. The HEPA filters used by these air purifiers can capture airborne particles that are as small as 0.3 microns.
The Dyson Link app, a free to download app, allows users to track indoor air pollution from a smart phone or tablet. These air purifiers also feature an auto mode to monitor the air quality, adjust airflow accordingly and send a report to the Dyson Link app. Moreover, the app allows the user to see outdoor air metrics and compare them with the indoor air quality. This can aid in determining the performance of the air purifiers.
Dyson offers voice control service allowing you to give instructions to your machine depending on your air quality needs. The night-mode allows the machines to run quietly.
